How do Fibroids affect me?

What is a uterine Fibroid?

They are noncancerous growths of the uterus that often appear during your childbearing years, they are also called myomas.

Fibroids are not associated with an increased risk of uterine cancer and almost never develop into cancer.

What happens if fibroids go untreated?

If they are left untreated, fibroids can continue to grow, both in size and number. They are also referred to as tumours and can take over the uterus and the symptoms will become worse.

Fibroids may increase your risk for other complications during pregnancy and delivery.

Should you fall pregnant while you have a uterine fibroid you risk having recurrent miscarriages or a high risk pregnancy as they take the shape of the womb and can restrict the growth of your baby. Large fibroids may prevent a foetus from growing fully due to decreased room in the womb.

What are signs of fibroids?

  • Heavy menstrual bleeding.
  • Menstrual periods lasting more than a week.
  • Pelvic pressure or pain.
  • Pain and discomfort during sex.
  • Frequent urination.
  • Difficulty emptying the bladder.
  • Backache or leg pains
  • Infertility

So if you have 3 or more of these signs you might want to consider getting them checked to see their size.

The fibroids pain will increase. The heavy bleeding will become heavier and it may be accompanied by severe cramping.

Treatment for fibroids

Medical practitioners will recommend that you go for surgery, a lot of women who have come to us have gone for surgery and the fibroids still come back and grow even bigger. We recommend a holistic way of shrinking them.

We have managed to help a large number of women with shrinking uterine fibroids successfully to a point of when they go for their scans the fibroids measure smaller each and every time to a point where they disappear completely.

We will however not tell you to not go for surgery, it will be your choice, if the fibroids are life threatening, please by all means go and remove them and use our products to ensure that they do not come back.

We recommend our Fibroids Combo, taken together with the Fibroids Drops.
